Suzuki GS-550M "Katana"

History

Katana

Built in 1983 the bike left the factory in red livery. Now we have become it’s third owner from new. Was owned by a friend as an unfinished project for last 20+ years, moved to our care November 2023.

It has had a hard life there are signs off being dropped, also it was only on the road for 3 years possibly an ex courier bike ? On the plus side it is complete and with a few spares, will probably sit in storage for a while till other projects are cleared.

Suzuki Four stroke, transverse four cylinder DOHC of 549cc, 2-valves per cylinder. With 6-speed gearbox.
