Managed to track down a few parts gaskets, seals and bearings. Won on Ebay an inlet manifold and purchased a standard piston, we have decided to just give the barrel a clean up and hone rather than the expense of a re-bore. Also we where given a part worn tyre but left it back at the barn.

This month is mainly about working out what we have and what we don’t. So far missing seems to be carb, exhaust, seat and inlet manifold. The engine looks to need new bearings, piston, re-bore, drive sprocket, and the speedometer drive box.
